It's the Sookie Stackhouse books come to life!!!!!

It was so funny... Mikey says, over breakfast today, that he's watching <i>True Blood</i>, a really neat vampire show on HBO.  As he's describing it to me, I start to think, "wait... this sounds very familiar....." and when I ask him the heroine's name and he says "Sookie" I just went kdjfka;ldfjkl;ajkfl;jakl;fjkadfjljk;ljgs;ljkklajfdkla;jfkla;djfkdl; !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He says it's very sexy and very good!  I know I have loved ALL the books, and I can't WAIT to see it come to life!

Sunday nights on HBO folks, whoooot!

We are so behind the times! I told Tim we needed to post about the show and how much we are enjoying it! It is so good! There were a few changes from the books, Tara is black, Lafayette's role has been expanded and Jason is such a Himbo! I finally have something to look forward to watching! We subscribed to HBO just for this program and it is now an "On Demand" program. I believe we are up to episode 4, Sookie has just found Dawn dead. I'll try to get Tim to do a post, you know he can tell a story much better then I can.
I love that Mikey found it and is enjoying it. HBO replays the week's episode several times so you should be able to catch it even if you miss Sunday night.

FWIW, I've seen part of the first so and was impressed. Bill's a lot sexier than he is in the books too, IMHO!
